Reporting To                        : Vice President – Sales (Mattress Division).

Job Description : The job responsibilities will include the following but will not be limited to the same.

  • Meet and exceed sales and collection targets consistently to ensure profitability.

  • Analysis of market behaviour/ trend/ size/ opportunity and preparing detailed business plan.

  • Creation and up-gradation of process and its implementation for effective communication.

  • Co-ordinating and motivating team members consisting of Area Sales Managers, Area Sales Executives, Sales Co-ordinators, etc.

  • Hiring and retaining quality manpower in the Organisation.

  • Defining job responsibilities of team members.

  • Supervise promotional activities and strengthen brand image.

  • Network expansion (universe mapping).

  • Focus on demand generation and secondary sales.

  • Supervise efficient, effective inventory management.

  • Ensure effective cost control.

  • Ensure timely & accurate M.I.S. reporting and information flow.

Qualification : Graduation in any stream, preferably with a management degree.
 
Experience : Around 10 years hands on sales experience in distribution or brand oriented environment in a mid size or big Consumer Durable or FMCG company. Should have knowledge of the territory. Should have handled a team of ASMs, ASEs, Sales Co-ordinators and Commercial Assistants.
 
Personal Traits : The Incumbent should have pleasing personality. He should be a goal-oriented team leader with high degree of business acumen and commercial judgement. He should possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Should also have good working knowledge of computer systems, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of local languages such as Telugu/ Tamil/ Kannada/ Malayalam is essential.

Compensation Offered : Salary package would commensurate with the qualification and experience of the Candidate and will not be a limiting factor.
