Probable Designation         : HEAD OF PLANT (RAKHOLI OPERATION).

Number of Positions          : 1 (One).

Location of Posting             : Rakholi, Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

Age                                         : Around 35 to 40 years.

Reporting To                        : Chief Executive Officer.

Job Description : The job responsibilities will include the following but will not be limited to the same.

  • To assume the overall responsibility for the efficient and safe operation of the manufacturing plant, confirming to the standard practices of production, quality, maintenance and administrative standards.

  • To ensure that all processes required from receipt of an order to dispatch of product are in place and operating to an agreed standard.

  • Ensure all orders are manufactured within an agreed lead-time and to the agreed specification and quality.

  • Understands the basics of Profit and Loss Account and is able to manage the day to day profitability of the plant under the direction of the CEO.

  • Implement the strategic initiatives designed to improve the efficient operation of the facility.

  • Develop a workforce capable of operating at an agreed standard of productivity and quality standard.

  • Provide programs to ensure all workforce is correctly trained for the positions they hold and to increase the level of multi-skilling of all staff.

  • Take an active role in resolving any conflict in a fair and professional manner.

  • Implement maintenance and cleaning program to ensure all plant machinery and vehicles are maintained at the highest standard and in line with manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Ensure all safety equipment provided with the machinery is maintained and utilised as per manufacturers recommendation.

  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping ensuring the facility is always kept neat and organized, both inside the facility and the surrounding area.

  • Liaison with the company’s customer base to ensure quality of service.

  • As part of the management team, periodically review the effectiveness of the various programmes introduced from time to time to ensure continuous improvement of the facility in all respects via management meetings.

Qualification : Preferably B.E./ B.Tech. in Mechanical or Production Engineering with P.G.D.B.M. or M.B.A. in any stream.

Experience : Around 10 to 15 years experience in handling various aspects of a manufacturing facility/ plant in a mid size or big company with atleast 5 years experience as head of the manufacturing plant having overall responsibility for the efficient and safe operation of the plant.

Personal Traits : The Incumbent should be impactful as a leader, having authoritative personality and excellent administrative skills. He should be a goal-oriented team leader with high degree of business acumen and commercial judgment. He should possess good analytical, English communication and interpersonal skills. Should also have good working knowledge of computer systems.

Compensation Offered : Salary package would commensurate with the qualification and experience of the Candidate and will not be a limiting factor.
